About the role

Scope Cranes and Logistics is seeking an experienced Crane Truck Operator to join our dynamic team in Geebung, Queensland. This full-time role plays a critical part in our road transport operations, utilising specialised crane trucks to deliver and install equipment across construction and infrastructure sites. With a strong focus on safety and efficiency, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our market-leading logistics business.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate and manoeuvre crane trucks to load, transport and unload a variety of equipment and materials

Conduct thorough pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned vehicles

Carefully plan and execute crane lifts to meet customer requirements and adhere to all relevant safety regulations

Collaborate with our logistics coordinators to ensure timely deliveries and exceptional customer service

Maintain detailed records of work performed and report any issues or concerns

Contribute to a positive, safety-focused team culture

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Crane Truck Operator in the transport or logistics industry

Current HC (Heavy-Combination) Licence and valid High-Risk Work Licence (Crane & Dogging)

Strong knowledge of crane operations, load shifting techniques and relevant safety procedures

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate challenging situations

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and a proactive approach to continuous improvement

Effective communication skills to liaise with customers, supervisors and team members

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
