The Specialised Heavy Transport team, is based in Park Ridge, Queensland, offering Full-Time positions, working locally and away, offering full penalty rates and allowances, suitable to the working roles to be engaged I, with progressive initiatives, for employee’s wanting to expand their skill set and knowledge.

We are an industry-leading company that services major customers requiring specialised heavy and over dimensional load movements. Our team is expanding as a result of increased work activity, we require the services of:

Heavy Haulage Tow Truck and Super tilt operator (Truck Driver)

Working within our specialist team, the operator will be responsible for:

• HC truck driving inclusive of, but not limited to MC, Underlift & Super tilt driving
• Transporting Vehicles, Machinery, Containers and much more through out South East Queensland (But not limited to).
• Must have basic mechanical knowledge.
• Must be able to properly understand all of the technical and engineering documents relevant to Oversize and Over-mass transport operations, and Fatigue management.
• To perform prestart checks and perform routine maintenance on equipment as required and must show competence in trouble shooting.
• Willing to learn and adapt to changes in work scope.
• Opportunities to grow with in the business unit
• Offer assistance within the specialised lifting and transport work front.
• Being on call
• Rostered on every second weekend on a rotating roster

This role will require diligent, reliable and self-motivated individuals who are able to work within a team environment. Successful candidates must possess a strong work ethic and committed to workplace health and safety.

Whilst based in Park Ridge, the successful candidates must be able to work with the team, on occasions, away and in remote locations.

Essential criteria:

• Safe working track record
• Good work attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work unsupervised
• HC Drivers licence
• Relevant High-Risk License
• White / Blue card
• Able to pass a Pre – employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Ability to clear a police check
• English Literacy skills
• Previous experience in the Specialised transport industry
• Current relevant vaccination certifications
• Accident Towing Authority License QLD

Desirable criteria

• Medium to high level of fitness
• Forklift licence
• MSIC
• Load restraint training
• Mechanical background
• NSW Licensed
