Paediatric Occupational Therapist | Hybrid | $110k - $130k Salary

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families? We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in South Australia.

About the Role

You’ll play a vital role in supporting children and their families across home, school, and community settings, as well as through telehealth services Australia-wide. You’ll work with a diverse paediatric caseload, from toddlers to teenagers, supporting developmental milestones, early intervention, and school readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments tailored to children's developmental stages

Develop and implement individualised, family-centred intervention plans

Support children with sensory processing challenges, fine/gross motor skill development, and emotional regulation

Provide school-based interventions and strategies to enhance participation and learning

Prescribe assistive technology and adaptive equipment suited to paediatric needs

Educate and empower parents and caregivers through coaching and practical strategies

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams

Support families navigating funding systems (e.g., NDIS) where required

Requirements

Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy), recognised by AHPRA

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, ideally with a paediatric focus

A team player mindset with the ability to work autonomously

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly with children and families

Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel using your own vehicle

Required clearances: DHS Working with Children, Childwise Child Safety Training, Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect, NDIS Workers Check, and National Police Clearance
