Discover and Learn Academy is brand-new service in Tanilba Bay. Due to increase in occupancy, we are seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our team.

As an educator, you will be responsible for planning and implementing educational programs that promote children's physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. You will work collaboratively with other educators to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children aged 0-6 years. Your passion and enthusiasm will see you work closely with the Director and other staff effectively engaging with families and children to implement the educational program for children.

You will have extensive knowledge of the EYLF, an understanding of the NQF/NQS and work in compliance with all regulations to meet high standards.

Responsibilities:

Plan, implement and evaluate educational programs that align with the EYLF and NQF standards

Develop positive relationships with families through open communication about their child's progress

Maintain accurate records of each child's development using our online platform

Work collaboratively with other educators to ensure consistency across all rooms within the centre

Maintain a safe learning environment by following health & safety procedures

Qualifications:

Diploma or Cert III Qualifications

Working with children check

Provide First Aid in an education and Care Setting
