👉🏼 The need-to-know…
Rise is looking for experienced Peer Support Worker and Facilitators for our outreach programs. You can be part of our new chapter under new management with bold vision and fresh ideas. We are transforming how we serve our clients and support our people.
In this role, you will use your unique lived experience and professional skills to support and guide individuals living with mental health conditions. You will work with your own case load of clients one-to-one following the ‘Recovery Model’ to identify, achieve and advocate for goals whilst addressing psychosocial challenges along the way.
Group activities will include running our Peer Workshops 'Introduction to peer work' and facilitating new sessions that support community members e.g. education on rights and resources. Additionally, there would be future scope to develop sessions in consultation with the Senior Coordinator.
These positions have flexibility for full-time or part-time between Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm). You will be based within the Community providing direct outreach with clients across the Perth Metro, working from our Helen’s Place Office (Middle Swan) and once up-to-speed/approved, enjoy hybrid work-from-home.
