This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointment/s with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.
Other Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/07/2026.
Position Profile: The Senior Health Professional Mental Health Triage:
- Conducts mental health triage for calls to the Mental Health Emergency Response Line (MHERL) and Rurallink across WA.
- Formulates crisis management plans and coordinates referrals to appropriate response agencies.
- Provides expert clinical and health systems information on issues related to mental health emergencies, crisis intervention and management of psychological conditions and disorders
