You’ll work side-by-side with senior accountants and directly with a diverse client base. You’ll mentor graduate accountants while receiving hands-on guidance from seasoned experts. If you’re someone who thrives in an environment where you’re both teacher and student—this is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

Your role will be dynamic, client-facing, and technically broad. You’ll be responsible for:

Financial Reporting & Taxation

Preparing and finalising financial statements, BAS, IAS, and income tax returns across all entity types.

Supporting clients with FBT, CGT, Division 7A, and ATO audits.

Staying compliant with AASB, ASA, and tax law changes.

Client & Advisory Work

Engaging directly with clients and institutions (ATO, ASIC, banks).

Providing budgeting, forecasting, and profitability advisory.

Participating in due diligence and valuations with senior leaders.

Learning and advising on asset protection and estate planning strategies.

Payroll & Compliance

Overseeing payroll, STP, and superannuation lodgements.

Ensuring Fair Work compliance and award interpretation.

Mentorship & Development

Training and reviewing work of graduate and junior accountants.

Participating in regular team knowledge-sharing and upskilling sessions.

Competitive Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 + Super (depending on experience)

Who You Are

3+ years of public practice experience (Australian firms preferred)

Progress toward CPA or CA (or recently completed)

A self-starter with high standards and strong analytical thinking

Able to confidently mentor junior staff while still open to learning

Enjoy working with diverse businesses—from tradies to tech startups
