I'm excited to share a brand new role with one of my long-term clients, Sports Dietitians Australia (SDA), the national peak body for performance nutrition professionals.
Having worked closely with this team, I can confidently say this is a brilliant opportunity to step into a role that’s full of variety, purpose and connection. You’ll will have a collaborative partnership with the Executive Officer, playing a key role in delivering standout member experiences and coordinating SDA’s signature events, including national conferences, workshops and CPD programs.
About the Role
You’ll liaise with a passionate network of professionals, coordinate with committees & marketing and help bring SDA’s programs to life, all while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. This newly created full-time position combines two core functions:
Member Services
You’ll be the friendly first point of contact for over 500+ members and responsible for:
Managing the CRM and handling all membership queries
Supporting onboarding, renewals and member communications
Coordinating student and graduate memberships with universities
Administering SDA’s online learning portal (Moodle)
Managing the SDA job board and supporting member events/webinars
Events & Education Coordination
You’ll take the lead on bringing SDA’s conferences and education programs to life, including:
Booking venues, organising catering and AV
Managing speaker arrangements, IP agreements and course materials
Handling event registrations and coordinating travel/accommodation
Drafting content for event promotion and post-event comms
Preparing budgets, tracking expenses and reporting to the EO
You’ll be great at this if you have...
4+ years in admin coordination, membership or events roles
Confidence using CRMs and platforms like Xero, Stripe or Moodle
A proactive, organised mindset and exceptional attention to detail
A genuine passion for working in a purpose-led organisation
Bonus points for experience in the health, sport or NFP sectors
