A newly created opportunity to join an organisation on an impressive growth journey. Due to this continued growth, they have a newly created role in their Accident & Health Claims team where you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of Income Protection claims for blue collar workers.
With an extensive training and induction program on offer, we are able to consider candidates from varied claims backgrounds. The key attributes we are looking for in candidates is a positive ‘can do’ attitude, the ability to work as part of a team, excellent customer services skills, and ability to problem solve and make decisions.

The day to day of the role
End to end management of 50 Accident & Health insurance claims
Reviewing medical reports and assessing eligibility criteria
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Setting reserves and processing claims payments
Assisting injured workers with return to work strategies
About you
2-3 years end to end claims management experience in Income Protection, Accident & Health, Super and/or Travel Insurance
Alternatively, we can consider candidates from an Allied Health background
A positive person who is genuinely empathetic with customers
You enjoy problem-solving and are confident making decisions
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to foster effective working relationships and manage multiple stakeholders
