We seek enthusiastic front of house, wait staff and housekeeping staff to join our team.

We have a permanent position Front of House and a number of casual positions for Wait Staff and Housekeeping.

We are looking for people who are all-rounders, provide excellent customer service and have a great work ethic together with a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and the region. We are a small team, and we seek vibrant, respectful people to join us.

We need people who chip in, joining us to help each other so together we deliver an excellent customer experience.

Roles:

Front of House and Casual Wait Staff days mix of days and evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Casual Housekeeping mix of weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities – Front of House, permanent

Prompt, courteous and friendly service to customers

Supervise and organise wait staff

Manage restaurant and kitchen flow

Work alongside chefs

Run food, clear tables and set up / pull down

General bar duties, including ordering

Barista duties

Carry out other duties as directed by the Manager

Maintain clean and tidy restaurant

Clean restaurant, bar and service areas and bathrooms when required

Must be available weekends and school holidays

Duties and Responsibilities – Wait Staff, casual

Prompt, courteous and friendly service to customers

Run food, clear tables and set up / pull down

General bar duties

Barista duties

Clean restaurant, bar and service areas and bathrooms when required

Carry out other duties as directed by the Manager / Supervisor

Must be available weekends and school holidays

Duties and Responsibilities – Housekeeping, casual

Services and cleans allocated rooms to the highest standards within the allocated time

Replenishes and controls guest supplies.

Reports any maintenance and health and safety issues needing attention to the supervisor.

Follows all housekeeping policies and procedures

Greets retreat guests and other staff on site in a polite and courteous manner

Gives assistance to other departments or outlets when required.

Carries out other duties as directed by the Manager / Supervisor

Must be available weekends and school holidays

Skills & Experience

A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and the region

Excellent customer service skills and a vibrant personality

Experience in a similar role

Eager to learn and develop

Strong interpersonal and English communication skills

Flexibility and availability to work across weekdays, holidays and weekends

Current RSA advantage

Own transport due to location

Evedon Lakeside Retreat comprises of ten, two storey lakeside apartment and six lakeside cabins, a restaurant café, function centre and conference room. The retreat is nestled in a jarrah forest on the banks of stunning Evedon Lake just 20 minutes from Bunbury and 35 minutes from Collie.

The timber and stone lakeside restaurant is fully licensed, offering a la carte restaurant and café, wedding receptions, functions and special events.
