Library Programs and Learning Officer (0.8 FTE)
This position reports to the Coordinator of Community Learning and Programs.
We're looking for a dynamic Programs and Learning Officer to create and deliver innovative library programs, activities and events for all age groups including Digital Literacy programs. Together with the programs team, the position will prioritise community needs and the advancement of lifelong learning.
The successful candidate will use social media and promotional strategies to boost program visibility and community engagement. This position also delivers senior-level customer service across all library branches and service points.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in education, library, or information studies or demonstrated experience, expertise, and competence sufficient to perform the duties required.
Demonstrated experience in the delivery of programs and/or events across all ages
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Ability to respond be flexible and responsive at short notice
This is a prescribed position. As part of Adelaide Hills Council’s Safe Environments Policy, a current Working with Children Check, and undertaking Child Safe Environment Training every three years, are requirements of the position.
A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the Council’s requirements will be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position
