At The Doorman, we install, service, and repair all types of garage doors and shutters across the Central West of NSW — from heavy-duty industrial shutters at mine sites to security doors in shopping centres and premium garage doors in homes.

We’re proud to be a newly appointed B&D Platinum Dealer, and we’re looking for hands-on, capable people to join our team of Installers.

Tools in hand, skills on show: You'll work with power tools, weld, and operate elevated work platforms, forklifts, and our truck-mounted crane.

What You’ll Be Doing

Whether you’re an experienced tradesperson or just starting out, you’ll get to:

Fabricate openings and install a mix of industrial, commercial, and residential doors

Fit and commission motors and accessories like safety beams, auto-locks, smartphone control systems, and complex automation control

Troubleshoot and carry out urgent repairs that keep businesses running and homes secure

What We’re Looking For

We’re after practical people with a good attitude and a strong focus on service. You don’t need to know everything — we’ll show you the ropes.

You should have:

A friendly, reliable approach and the ability to speak with customers in a helpful, respectful way

Pride in your work and a strong attention to detail

A willingness to learn, work hard, and take initiative

At least basic experience with power tools and a hands-on mindset

A current driver’s licence and white card as a minimum

Bonus Points For:

Previous experience with doors, shutters, or motors

Trade backgrounds (carpentry, mechanical, fabrication, fitting and turning, etc.)

LR truck licence, forklift or EWP tickets (not essential — we’ll help you get qualified)
