About Us

We are a well-established residential and commercial building company based in Port Macquarie, currently experiencing significant growth across the Mid North Coast region. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for quality, we are seeking a passionate and energetic Site Manager to join our team.

Our projects span from South West Rocks to Taree, and we expect our Site Supervisors to remain actively engaged and on top of their workload, typically overseeing 4–5 projects at any one time.

This role is well-suited to someone looking to transition into project management, offering the opportunity to take on greater responsibility—including oversight of project financials and involvement in a small amount of procurement.

This role suits an experienced construction professional with proven experience in both residential and commercial projects, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Plan activities and allocate resources for construction projects

Organise and motivate project teams to meet deadlines

Monitor and control project timelines to ensure milestones are met

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Identify, analyse and manage project risks

Raise and resolve buildability issues

Document project variations, including time and cost implications

Required Skills

Intermediate to advanced computer skills

Excellent communication – verbal and written

Highly organised and deadline-driven

Strong administrative and documentation skills

Ability to prioritise tasks effectively

A safety-first mindset

A “time is money” approach to project delivery

Capability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously (depending on size and complexity)

Performance Expectations

Deliver construction projects on time and to a high standard

Interact professionally with clients, suppliers, and trades

Control project budget and scope; understand financial implications of changes

Think strategically and plan effectively across all areas

Lead with strength and continue to grow leadership capabilities

Ideal Candidate

A trade qualification in carpentry with a minimum of 10 years' supervisory experience

A team-oriented, customer-focused attitude with a results-driven mindset

Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships

A current driver’s licence with a clean driving record

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities

Own reliable vehicle for travel between sites and office

ABN to subcontract for the short term
