Restoration Technician - Full time 38 hrs/week

Our Restoration company is family-owned and operated and has earned a well-respected reputation in the insurance industry over the past 15 years.

We currently service Central Coast, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas.

Our team has a strong focus on customer service, and prides itself on supporting clients when they are at their most vulnerable.

As a restoration technician, you will be responsible for providing technical aid throughout the course of an insurance claim, where a home has been damaged by fire, smoke, water, or mould.

Day to day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Travelling to restoration sites to conduct initial make-safe works for water, mould, fire and other restoration related projects.

Complete reports and technician duties for water damage, fire damage & mould projects.

Cleaning of contents and structure.

Removal / strip out of carpets, flooring, and affected wall linings and ceilings.

Pack out and remove contents.

Fire and soot damage restoration/ cleaning.

Mould remediation /cleaning.

Installation of drying equipment.

Assisting in assessment of affected properties and contents.

The position requires some weekend and after-hours work.

Successful applicant must have

IICRC WRT certification is a must, other IICRC qualifications highly desirable.

2+ years’ experience in the Insurance Restoration industry is required with additional training provided for the right applicant

A class C drivers’ licence, with a good driving history.

Valid white card.

Physically fit- this is an extremely physical job
