About the role

Kids Connect Therapy is seeking a passionate and experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. We are a multidisciplinary team, working within the DIR framework. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children in our purpose-built clinic setting. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young clients and their families.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify each child's unique needs

Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication difficulties

Collaborating with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care

Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to continue therapy strategies at home

Maintaining detailed clinical records and reporting on client progress

Participating in professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology, with eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia

Demonstrated experience in evaluating and treating a range of speech, language, and communication disorders in children

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families

Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development

Enthusiasm and commitment to teamwork
