The role:
As a Locum Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessment and intervention services to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders across inpatient units, aged care facilities, and community outpatient settings. Core duties include maintaining accurate clinical records, collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams through meetings and case conferences, and delivering education and training to staff to support best practice in communication and dysphagia management.

You will also have the opportunity to promote speech pathology services within the community through awareness initiatives and liaison with local support networks. This role requires a flexible and collaborative approach, with the ability to adapt to various clinical environments and support client-centred care across diverse populations.

Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathologist or relevant discipline
