Westfill are recruiting for experienced Underground Backfill and Paste Crew personnel to join the team and work across well know sites in WA. This position will help the right candidate to gain exposure and experience across different Projects while working with new teams to develop on your skills.

Even 8:6 and a 12 hour day. FIFO from Perth paid at up to $65.00 per hour

About the role:

Installation of underground paste pipes (Steel & HDPE), services and infrastructure

Installing Dump Valves / Diverter Valves

Building paste walls and bunds

Monitoring of the backfill network during filling operations

Liase with operations team and co-ordinate crews for optimum performance

Underground IT, Light Vehicle and Airleg Ticket

About you

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of underground paste and backfill operations experience

Ability to work well within a team environment

Strong leadership qualities with ability to manage daily UG paste crew operations

Effectively planning and scheduling of installation work packages

Ability to communicate with surface plant and respond as required during blockage and flushing scenarios
