Westfill is currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to come onboard with the team as a trainee Underground HV Electrician.

Your primary role will be to facilitate the surface electrical infrastructure works and maintenance, which includes maintaining the electrical infrastructure at camp.

When this work has been completed on an intermittent basis you will have the opportunity to then jump in with the Underground electrical team as part of a trainee program teaching you the skills to be an experienced underground HV electrician.

Responsibilities:

As a Underground Truck Driver at Westfill, you will play a pivotal role. Your responsibilities will include:

Minimum 1 Year experience driving trucks underground is advantageous

Demonstrated awareness of the Work Health and Safety Act demonstrating a commitment to health and safety practices in the workplace

Participate in shift changeover and collect information for upcoming shift tasks

Promote an enjoyable, safe and productive work environment

The ideal candidate will have:

A minimum of 2 years experience working in an underground mining environment

Able to demonstrate an excellent attitude and compliance with safety policies and procedures.

A proactive, team-oriented attitude and strong safety focus

Current Valid Manual Driver’s License (Essential)

Full Australian Working Rights (Essential)

WA-based and available for FIFO (Essential)
