A leading name in the industry, is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Production Planner to join the operations team on a 12-month fixed-term Maternity cover contract.

About the Role

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating and managing production plans that align with demand forecasts, inventory targets, and capacity constraints. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our production operations run smoothly, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Develop daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer demand and optimise plant capacity

Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales teams to align planning activities

Monitor inventory levels and adjust plans to avoid stockouts or overproduction

Analyse supply and demand data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement

Support S&OP processes and contribute to planning meetings

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience in production planning, supply planning, or demand planning within manufacturing

Experience using Relex Solutions or Profit Systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with planning systems and Excel

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

A proactive, can-do attitude and attention to detail
