About the role

Renew Builders' is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Sandgate, Queensland. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial construction projects. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our high-quality building solutions.

What you'll be doing

Interpreting construction plans to ensure accurate and efficient construction

Performing a range of carpentry tasks, from ground works, framing, cladding, trusses, window and door installation, all finishing works and much more

Utilising power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble components

Collaborating with the construction team to coordinate tasks and ensure the timely completion of projects

Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients throughout the construction process

What we're looking for

Formal carpentry qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of practical experience as a Carpenter, preferably in a residential renovations construction environment

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans.

Skilled in the use of power tools and hand tools, with the ability to work with a range of materials

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address any challenges that may arise on-site

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
