About the role:
As a Sales & Service Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to RACQ’s 1.7 million members, providing a total brand experience that leaves a lasting impression. This means:

• Receiving incoming calls from RACQ members and communicating in an honest, open, and engaging manner.
• Staying calm and composed under pressure, handling complaints or escalated enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Discussing additional product needs based on genuine customer connection & conversation/
• Managing day-to-day transactions accurately, in line with RACQ's policies and procedures.
• Creating an environment where members feel comfortable sharing their concerns and where their needs are prioritized.
• First 3 months onsite Monday – Friday 8:30-4:30.

You'll enjoy a competitive starting salary of $63,300 + super with a gradual increase as you continue training. Plus, an additional 50% loading applies on Saturday. The role kicks off on July 14th, with rotating shifts from 6:30 – 10, Monday – Saturday (working every second Saturday).

About you:
You’re the kind of person who thrives on helping others and delivering outstanding customer experiences. We’re looking for candidates who have:

• Previous experience in a customer service or contact centre role.
• Exceptional empathy, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong active listening skills, with a willingness to provide support and guidance to members in alignment with RACQ’s values.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust.
• Keen attention to detail and accurate data entry skills, especially in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative spirit, positivity, and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Must be available to attend an on site interview at Eight Mile Plains Wednesday 18th June.
