We deliver turnkey solutions from design to commissioning across some of the most remote and demanding environments in Australia.

With a strong presence in Far North Queensland and a reputation for technical excellence, we are expanding and looking for a Communications Technician to join our dedicated team.

What You’ll Do

Install, commission and maintain two-way radios, UHF/VHF systems, microwave links, satellite gear, and SCADA/telemetry equipment.

Diagnose and repair faults down to component level in both digital and analogue systems.

Assist with tower construction, remote repeater installations, and marine/aviation communication setups.

Conduct on-site surveys and prepare technical documentation.

Collaborate with clients and stakeholders on end-to-end solutions.

Desirable Skills (Highly Regarded)

Estimating: Ability to prepare scopes of work, quotes, and basic cost estimations for communication system projects.

Project Management: Experience planning, coordinating, and delivering small-to-medium scale projects on time and within budget.

Supervision: Leading small teams, coordinating subcontractors, or overseeing on-site crews for installations or tower work.

What You’ll Need

Trade qualification or equivalent in Communications, Electronics, or related field.

Strong knowledge of RF systems, antennas, IP networking, and telemetry.

White Card and current Driver’s Licence (4WD experience a bonus).

Ability to work safely and independently in remote areas.

Willingness to travel across the region, including remote sites and islands.
