Are you a commercially-minded Financial Controller who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? If so, we are seeking an experienced finance leader to support the CFO and build strong partnerships with operations and provide high quality, value add financial & commercial decision support.

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role is critical to balancing the rigour of financial control with commercial insight. You will lead a team to manage the day to day accounting function, compliance, cash flow, audit, and reporting – while assisting with automation, processes improvement & a business wide transformational uplift.

What YOU will lead:

• Monthly reporting, preparing financial, management & board reports plus providing insightful variance analysis;
• Managing AR/AP processes with a sharp eye on DSO, inventory, fixed assets and accruals;
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory and audit requirements, including the preparation of statutory accounts;
• Ensuring timely lodging of all taxation requirements including BAS, FBT & payroll tax;
• Support the CFO with treasury risk, managing overseas inventory suppliers including FX payments, ancd
• Supporting the CFO to manage budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning activities aross the Group.

Your background includes:

• CA/CPA qualified with solid technical accounting skills and understanding of compliance requirements.
• Strong business partnering with operations with a strong preference for manufacturing industry experience.
• Ability to automate, process improve and streamline finance processes
• Strong attention to detail with commercial acumen and systems experience
• A proactive, positive, "roll up your sleeves" attitude and good ability to manage multiple priorities.
