Our brand-new café at Palm Lake Care Bargara is now open! Are you passionate about delivering excellent café-style service with a smile? Do you have barista skills and enjoy working in a relaxed, community-focused environment? We’re seeking Food & Beverage Assistants to join our dedicated hospitality team. With services expanding into weekends, we’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced individuals ready to grow with us.

About the Role

Working in a warm and welcoming aged care environment, you’ll help bring comfort and quality to the daily lives of our residents and their guests through exceptional food and beverage service.

Key Details

☕ Barista and café experience is essential

🥪 Food prep duties: Making sandwiches, wraps, paninis, and light snacks

🍽️ Food handling experience required

🕤 Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:30am–2:30pm – perfect for school hours

Planned Start date: 28 July 2025

Weekend availability: May be needed as we expand services

What We’re Looking For

Proven barista and café experience is a must

Confidence in basic food preparation and safe food handling practices

Customer service experience

A warm, engaging personality and commitment to high-quality service

Ability to work independently and within a supportive team

Current Food Safety Certificate (would be advantageous)

Experience in hospitality, café, or aged care settings is highly regarded
