We are seeking a Kitchen Hygiene Assistant to assist with the day-to-day co-ordination of the Patient Catering team at John Flynn Private Hospital. This is a Permanent part-time opportunity with a Global Health Care Company!

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for the preparation, distribution and collection of all customer menus, food trays and beverages. Reporting to the Hospitality Services Manager, the successful candidate will assist in preparing and handling food, general cleaning duties, dish washing, an understanding of patient dietary requirements and ensure a clean environment is maintained.

About You

To succeed in this role you will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who has a focus on customer services, strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to successfully work within a team environment. The flexibility to handle a rotating roster including evenings and weekend shifts will be key for this role.

You will also bring;

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
• Good time management skills
• Certificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate of $26.50 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
