One of our valued clients has tasked us with sourcing 2 x Senior Project Managers to lead individual projects within the Operations Excellence CoE, spanning both mining and refining segments, ensuring strategic execution and measurable outcomes.

About the role
Reporting into the Global Implementation Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Reporting to the Drives excellence in project delivery by maintaining adherence to scope, budget, and timelines throughout the entire lifecycle—from front-end loading and execution to final closeout.
• Establishes clear alignment between project objectives and the expectations of internal and external stakeholders, creating robust boundary conditions that support success.
• Ensures strict compliance with governance processes, engineering standards, and statutory requirements, reinforcing best practices and operational integrity.
• Provide expert Technical, Operational, and Maintenance input into the Project Execution Plan, prioritizing safety, environmental sustainability, operability, maintainability, and ergonomic considerations.
• Ensure best-practice design and implementation by delivering practical, cost-effective solutions that minimize capital intensity while maintaining operational excellence.

What Qualifications Do I Require?
• 10 years of project management experience at least 5 years of which should be brownfields projects
• 4 year Degree in Mechanical, Electrical (preferential) or any other engineering stream with a design | technical background
• Experience in technology delivery would be a bonus
• Alumina experience is preferred
• A dynamic, driven persona who exhibits outstanding stakeholder engagement skills
• A confidence in your technical know-how and a strong engineering skill set to be able communicate your recommendations respectfully with the internal client base
• Must be a self-starter, be able to lead projects in a brownfield environment and work independently.
