Davies Safety Consulting provides HSEQ supports various clients. From your local builder to larger clients in the civil and building construction industry

We are looking for a person who is interested in their career in health and safety. We will provide the support, guidance, and training to build your confidence while out on site and provide real-life projects for you to work on. In this hands-on role, you will support teams in all things health and safety.

About You

You are also very purposeful and well organized and because we are a small team, the role will require a good deal of hands-on people management, team motivation, and team building. You may also be required to get on-site and help site teams on days that require high risk support.

Being comfortable with achieving set KPI's and high delivery standards, is a must. Your effort is always geared towards ensuring absolute system integrity and the best possible outcomes for our customers. You must have excellent oral communication skills, be a fantastic listener, and have a very common-sense approach to your work, particularly when it comes to handling the usual client on-the-spot questions or staff challenges to meet our deadlines and high standards.

We are looking to take the business to the next level, so we need a person with very strong business management capability. Full systems training will be provided, however, basic computer literacy with regard to email and Word/Excel is absolutely mandatory. Experience in Procore, Hammertech, and Sign-on-Site is a bonus.

On offer is a starting package of between $90,000 - $110,00 plus super. Also provided will be road tolls, a fuel card, phone and a computer. A fully maintained vehicle and a generous bonus incentive scheme allowing you to participate in the profits you generate will become available for the right candidate after our qualifying period.

Minimum: Workplace Health and Safety Certificate IV

First first aid and CPR Certificate

Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel

Experience in multi-residential builds

Experience in Civil Construction: Roads and Bridges

Experience in Townhouse builds

General Construction Induction Training (White Card)

Commercial drone pilot certificate

Tasks & responsibilities

Reviewing safe work method statements

Creating daily content for morning pre-start meetings

Onboarding and inspecting mobile plant arriving onsite

Complete weekly Health and Safety Inspections

Providing support and advice to project teams

Self-motivated and disciplined

Must have own car

Being involved in an ISO Certification would be a bonus
