We are seeking an experienced 2 Pac Spray Painter to join our team at Johnson Refinishing in Noosaville. This position provides an opportunity for long term employment with a family owned business, focused on achieving outstanding results for our clients.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

Responsible for handling and preparing components for painting

Priming and painting of various surfaces using a range of techniques including 2 Pac spraying

Apply paints according to job specifications

Mixing and applying of paints, stains and other materials according to their technical data sheets

Carrying out general labouring duties such as loading/unloading materials

General housekeeping duties in workshop when required

To be successful in this role you will be expected to have:

Previous experience as a 2 Pac Spray Painter within the trades and services industry

Experience in using various hand tools, sanders and masking machines

Experience in the use and cleaning of various spray-painting tools and equipment

Safe handling of solvents, paints and stains

Proven ability to work safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail

Reliable and punctual with a positive, can-do attitude

Be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects

Sound knowledge of safe working practices and procedures in a workshop environment

Preffered but not essential:

Demonstrated experience in the field of cabinetry surface preparation and spray painting

Immediate start

Hours are 6.30am – 3.00pm Monday to Thursday and 6.30am – 12.30pm Friday
