A permanent part-time (3 days a week) professional librarianship position is available at Supreme Court Library Queensland (SCLQ).

The Customer Services and Research Librarian (Brisbane) works as part of the Research and Education team to deliver high-quality legal information services to library customers, including research assistance, legal research training, and support in using library technology and legal research resources.
Responsibilities
Utilise your legal and/or information management insight and expertise to provide high-quality information services to members of the judiciary, legal profession and other library customers
Actively engage with library customers to understand their needs and provide a responsive service
Develop and maintain a high level of expertise across a range of legal research tools
Provide professional responses to legal research enquiries, informed by analysing and evaluating the legal issues involved
Provide training and support to members of the judiciary, legal profession and other library customers
Provide basic information technology support to, and troubleshoot problems experienced by, library customers
Assist library customers to develop effective and efficient legal research methodologies
Undertake necessary administrative functions, such as processing of customer registrations, loans and payments, and measurement, compilation and analysis of information services activities and data for reporting purposes
Contribute to the development of, and participate in, activities that promote greater understanding and increased use of library services
Proactively manage personal workload and competing priorities
Take personal responsibility to deliver agreed outcomes, demonstrating and fostering professional and ethical behaviour, and committing to personal development
Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers and key stakeholders
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, including identifying potential efficiencies and enhancements in collection management and information services functions
Remuneration is competitive: $92,279 to $100,551 annual salary (pro rata for part-time) depending on skills and experience (plus leave loading and superannuation).
Working conditions are flexible and family friendly. The required workdays are Monday and Tuesday with flexibility for the third day.
