Restaurant Manager - Howlin' Jay's Cairns

We are looking for an energetic leader to join our team as a Restaurant Manager at Howlin' Jay's Cairns. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for driving the success of the business by overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, supervising the team and training all whilst ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service and product.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring that they are motivated, engaged and equipped to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Work closely with the kitchen & bar team to ensure that our product quality and presentation is consistently excellent and that all food safety and health standards are maintained.

Manage inventory and control costs to ensure that we are operating within budget, while also maximizing profitability.

Continuously monitor and analyse financial performance metrics, and take proactive steps to address any issues or opportunities for improvement.

Ensure that all aspects of the restaurant's operations comply with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.

Build strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and enhance the reputation & success of Howlin' Jay's.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a successful Manager (Hospitality industry preferred)

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of diverse individuals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff and other stakeholders.

Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Demonstrated ability to manage costs and drive profitability.

Passion for food and the hospitality industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
