GAF TECH Pty Ltd is a recognised field service provider based in Western Sydney supplying a high quality metering service to a reputable national metering provider.

Our business is continually growing which calls for additional field staff within our bulk meter exchange program. We are offering a position for meter technician / level 2 electrician to engage in smart meter exchanges and maintenance works.

Duties & qualifications:

Removal of electricity metering devices and replacement with digital smart metering.

Resolving communication faults associated with digital smart metering.

Carry out specific testing at switchboards and recording information.

Knowledge and commitment to work, health and safety.

Sound understanding of the relevant network standards.

The successful candidates must have:

Type 4 Meter Installation Training Certificate.

Have safety awareness, and work within industry safety standards.

Be familiar with metering work, with the relevant meter provider.

Be reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.

The following qualifications are notably favourable:

PLUS ES Metering Competency
