Gasforce specialises in the repair, maintenance and installation of gas and electrical catering equipment across our broad customer base.
Due to significant business growth, we are seeking to grow our team and require motivated and enthusiastic Technicians with service and repair experience in catering equipment.
Responsibilities
Confidently perform routine maintenance, diagnose, and repair a wide range of commercial kitchen
Conduct thorough inspections to identify equipment malfunctions, faulty components, and potential issues.
Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner to minimise downtime and optimise functionality.
Collaborate with clients and provide exceptional customer service, addressing their concerns and offering recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
Stay updated with industry advancements and new technologies to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Gas fitter for commercial kitchen equipment or similar fields.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, as required.
Key Selection Criteria
Must have either
Full Plumbing or Restricted Gas Fitting license
In addition:
A minimum of 5 year’s experience in service and repairs of catering equipment.
Excellent problem solving and fault finding skills essential to this role.
A current driver license.
Previous experience using job management software, preferably AroFlo
Good written English essential
A proactive and highly organised yet flexible approach to work
