About Move For Health:

Move For Health provides home-based exercise physiology services for several aged care organisations around Adelaide and surrounding areas. Patient funding is predominantly via Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care Packages (government-funded programs) and NDIS. Move For Health’s client demographic is mainly elderly populations and treatment is typically focused around improving functional capacity and independence as well as disease or injury-specific exercise interventions. Move For Health currently has 8 AEPs providing home-based services around Adelaide.

Position details:

Move For Health is looking for a passionate, reliable and knowledgeable accredited exercise physiologist to commence home-based services part-time 2-3 days/week. Exercise physiologists with experience working with elderly populations are preferable, however, anyone who is interested is encouraged to apply.

The position will involve visiting clients for home based EP treatment in Adelaide and surrounding areas. You will provide initial assessments, home exercise sessions and progress reviews for allocated clients.

Requirements:

Aged care experience is preferable

Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with elderly people

Reliable vehicle

AEP Insurance, first aid/CPR, national police check

ESSA AEP accreditation

3 x COVID 19 vaccinations
