About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated medical officer to join our Vascular Surgery Unit in a dynamic and supportive training environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the supervised management of vascular surgery patients, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a broad range of procedural skills, honing your clinical judgement and surgical dexterity under the guidance of experienced consultants.
This role offers more than just clinical exposure—you’ll be encouraged to engage in ongoing professional development through tutorials, clinical meetings, and personal study. You'll also play an active part in teaching and mentoring junior colleagues, contributing to a strong culture of learning within the unit. About You
You are an early-career medical professional with a strong clinical foundation, committed to delivering high-quality care and continuously building your skills. You value collaboration, integrity, and patient-centred practice in a multidisciplinary team environment.
MBBS or equivalent, with AHPRA registration and completion of intern training
Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills
Demonstrated commitment to professional development and safe practice
Understanding of patient rights, medico-legal responsibilities, and team-based care
