We’re looking for a committed Direct Care Worker (Residential) to become a valued member of the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) team. In this important role, you’ll work closely with residents and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, person-centred care within a safe and nurturing environment.

About the Role:

As a Direct Care Worker (Residential), you will be responsible for providing direct care services to residents of the Residential Care Home. Reporting to the Registered Nurse and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll support residents with their daily activities, promote their independence and wellbeing, and foster a caring and respectful atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For:

• Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
• Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
• Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
• Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
• Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.
