About the role
We're searching for a dedicated Shop Manager to join our A-Team! This is a full-time (38 hours per week) salaried role, where you'll be responsible for managing ANNEES® in Caneland Central, Mackay.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will have the opportunity to treat this shop as if it were your own; managing the daily shop operations and your designated Team.
Our dream Shop Manager will be someone who is highly motivated, has strong management and leadership skills, and most importantly, can empower their team to provide an exceptional guest experience. You'll also receive training and support to enable you to carry out your role as Shop Manager to the best of your ability, in-line with the ANNEES® values and processes and procedures.
What you'll do
Shop Operations
Manage ANNEES® guest experience in venues, implementing a 'guest first' approach
Oversee all venue operations including opening and closing procedures, team rostering and management, guest experience, product processes, stock control and work health and safety
Optimise venue operations, efficiency and productivity to meet KPIs
Implement new processes, procedures and systems as directed by the Regional Manager
Deliver ANNEES® purpose through championing the ANNEES® brand and culture
Ensure ANNEES® operational processes, procedures and systems are in compliance with company policies
Manage venue supply chain policies, processes, procedures in compliance
Manage venue rostering, approve and submit timesheets to ensure operational requirements and budgets are adhered to
Training and Development
Deliver and implement all ANNEES® training processes, procedures and systems
Provide leadership to Shift Leaders and A-Team Members through coaching and delegation
Proactively develop and train Shift Leaders and A-Team Members, identifying talent for learning and development opportunities
Review and maintain a thorough knowledge of ANNEES® drinks, A-Merch and ANNEES® at Home products, educating and training Shift Leaders and A-Team Members on these products
Team Management
Implement the onboarding and off-boarding of Shift Leaders and A-Team Members
Manage and implement performance reviews and defined performance improvement plans
Deliver and maintain communications with Shift Leaders and A-Team Members
Communicate actual venue performance and celebrate achievements relative to KPIs and outcomes
What you can bring to the A-Team
Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail managerial/supervisory role
Hospitality, customer service, and/or bar work experience
A friendly, professional and approachable attitude
Exceptional customer service and the ability to build genuine relationships
Strong communication and time management skills
The ability to lead effectively and manage a team
A high standard of personal appearance
A growth mindset to embrace opportunities and innovation
A valid drivers license
Demonstrate a high level of integrity
Take initiative
