About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Spare Parts Trainee to join our team at Southern Truck Centre Pty Ltd in Queanbeyan, NSW. This is a full-time role that will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the automotive parts industry. As a Spare Parts Interpreter Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient and effective management of our parts inventory, ensuring our customers receive the parts they need in a timely manner. You will also be introduced to our warehouse where you will learn how to correctly stock and pick parts.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming parts and accessories

Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders

Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels

Assisting customers with parts inquiries and orders, both in-person and over the phone

Learning about the various parts and accessories we stock, and their applications

Developing a deep understanding of the automotive parts industry and its processes

What we're looking for

A genuine interest in the automotive industry and a willingness to learn

A commitment to providing excellent customer experiences and working towards excellent customer service skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately

Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the business

A valid driver's licence (preferred)
