About the Role
This is a casual position, currently 2 days per week - Thursdays and Fridays. The role involves teaching across both the Certificate IV and Advanced Diploma of Music (Sound Production), with a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on live sound training.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training and assessment aligned with VET and curriculum requirements
- Support student engagement, attendance and outcomes
- Maintain teaching and compliance documentation
- Participate in industry consultation and curriculum development
- Provide pastoral and academic support to students

Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant vocational qualifications and current industry skills in live sound
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- VET teaching experience, preferably in live sound or music production
- Understanding of ASQA/VET compliance requirements

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Industry experience in live sound, particularly in small to medium venues such as our Yarra Edge Theatre
- A collaborative approach to teaching and learning - you'll work closely with our Music, Live Technical Services, and Screen and Media teams as students apply their skills to real shows and performances
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
