About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Plumbing Teacher to join our Construction team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and evaluate student learning programs and resources
  • Deliver training and assessment aligned with VET and curriculum requirements
  • Support student engagement, attendance, and outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment
  • Participate in curriculum development, industry consultation, and quality assurance
  • Provide leadership and support within the Plumbing department
  • Embrace new technologies and continuous improvement strategies
  • Participate in marketing, student selection, and induction processes
Skills and Experience Required
  • Appropriate post-secondary qualifications and recent industry experience
  • Registration as a Plumber in the State of Victoria
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and learner-centred teaching
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and ICT skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of ASQA/VET compliance and quality assurance standards
Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
