About the role

R&R Tax + Bookkeeping is seeking an experienced Income Tax Return Tax Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. Working from our office in Alice Springs, NT, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax return preparation to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Preparing personal income tax returns

Prepare rental property schedules, small ABN sole trader schedules & capital gains schedules for shares sold

Assist clients with tax-related queries and provide expert advice

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience in personal and business tax return preparation

Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements and keeping up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Fantastic client service and communication skills

Ability to work independently

What we offer

This role is for the Tax Season during the period July to September only. During this period you will need to be in our office based in Alice Springs as the role is face to face individual tax return appointments. Travel allowance and accommodation can be provided. We would hope for the role to be ongoing each tax year with other possible during the year working from your home.
