We are working with a well-known firm based in the Eastern Suburbs who are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis.

Working in a fast-paced environment alongside a collaborative finance team, you'll take ownership of front-end payroll processing for a diverse workforce - This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven setting and enjoys problem-solving and process improvement.

This role is estimated to be for around 3 months, with the view to extend, and requires an immediate start.

Your responsibilities include:

• Font end data entry of weekly and fortnightly payroll
• Managing employee queries across awards, entitlements, and timesheets
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies
• Superannuation and payroll tax processing

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in a similar payroll position
• Strong understanding of relevant awards and legislation
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Excel skills and experience with large ERP/payroll systems
• A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running
