We currently have a permanent full time opportunity available for experienced Technicians in the Newcastle / Maitland / Hunter Valley Region, NSW.area.

Your Role:

As an Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our clients’ equipment in peak condition. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of earthmoving and heavy machinery.

Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in equipment.

Ensuring all machinery complies with safety regulations and is maintained in optimal working condition.

Collaborating with the team to manage repair schedules and maintain parts and tools inventory.

Providing exceptional service to clients and maintaining detailed records of your work.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Experience: Demonstrated skills in repairing and maintaining heavy machinery, with a focus on civil and construction equipment.

Trade Qualifications: Relevant certifications in heavy equipment mechanics or equivalent.

Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in earthmoving machinery.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team environment.

What Sets You Apart?

3+ years post trade experience with earthmoving equipment.

Leadership potential or prior supervisory experience is a plus.

Additional certifications in heavy machinery repairs are desirable.

Salary & Benefits:

Full-time position with a 38-hour work week.

Additional benefits to be discussed during the hiring process.

Monday to Friday (days), with occasional Saturdays required.
