We are seeking a Senior Van Sales Representative (VSR) who will provide outstanding customer service, contribute to the growth of our business and be a role model within our Van Sales Representative team.
This role is an ideal career pathway to Operations Management and/or Sales Area Management.
The Senior Van Sales Representative will act as the lead Van Sales Representative for North Queensland, modelling operational excellence as well as behaviours in line with Values. It is anticipated that they will average five days per week in the field.
This role will be based from Cairns, and will include responsibility for covering planned and unplanned VSR leave across North Queensland depots. When covering leave outside Cairns, this position will be paid a generous Overnight Allowance, plus accommodation & reasonable expenses.
While the primary purpose of the Van Sales Representative role is to deliver product to customers, it is also responsible for maximising sales on each call. As a result, the remuneration for this role includes a generous sales commission paid on each carton sold as well as monthly bonus commissions when sales targets are achieved.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- First on ground in the field each day, to manage daily routing and resolve any operational issues
- Training and coaching the Van Sales Representative team
- Covering Van Sales Representative leave across North Queensland, visiting customers including cafes, retailers, entertainment venues, aquatic centres, beach kiosks, sporting grounds
- Communicating with the broader North Queensland sales team
- Supporting 3rd Party transport & distributors with operational requirements
- Operational support during Area Manager leave

About You
- Flexibility to regularly travel across North Queensland is essential
- Clean driving record
- MR licence or learner MR (or willingness to obtain one with our support)
- Customer service and/or frontline sales experience
- Motivated and KPI-oriented, with a willingness to learn
- Fit and healthy, with the energy to work a full day plus overtime if necessary
