About the role

An exciting role in a growing business as a warehouse all-rounder as well as driver, we provide a fantastic team environment and are looking for a long-term person to join us. All our staff are paid above award with progression and yearly salary reviews as standard. We supply to events like Australian open tennis, Good Food and Wine shows nationally, so some onsite work is applicable also at the events time to time. It is a role where every day you will do different things and not be stuck in repetitive work, and we assure you this is a great opportunity for you to be part of a winning team. Your main Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Loading and unloading of goods (Commercial Fridges & Freezers) from trucks as well as containers.

· Prepare refrigeration units for delivery including cleaning returned fridges & freezers.

· Warehouse Operation – Pick & Pack, Optimise space, Categorise & Organise stock including spare parts.

· Assist throughout large events (e.g., Australian Open).

· Onsite deliveries to customers as needed

· Monitor and maintain warehouse supplies and tools.

· Any Ad-hoc tasks related to warehousing/delivery requested by management & co-workers when needed.

This is a VERSATILE role offering LONG TERM STABILITY and CAREER PROGRESSION for the right candidate.

What We Provide:

· Full-Time Permanent role * with 6 month probation period

- 40 hours a week

- Ad-hoc overtime work including weekends may be required (paid at a penalty rate) but ONLY upon your agreement.

What We Need from You:

· A current clean driver’s licence is Essential

**MR truck licence is required for this role.

**Having sensitive freight experience will put you ahead in the evaluation process

· A current Forklift Licence is required for this role.

· Reliability, exceptional work ethic and an understanding of the need for punctuality and efficiency.

· MUST BE physically fit as this is a VERY hands-on role.

· Awareness of general Workplace Health & Safety requirements.

· Good communications skills – liaising with warehouse and office staff, along with customers & suppliers.

· Willingness to learn as well as ask questions.

· Proven ability to take ownership of tasks.

· Ability to work in a team environment with a friendly manner, and also work and complete tasks under no supervision.

· Attention to detail and can-do attitude is essential for this role.
