About the Organisation:

This national service-based organisation enjoys on-going success, stability, and growth. They are extremely customer service focussed and achieve great results at a local level. Due to recent movement within the team, an opportunity now exists for an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic support to their client group in a 6-month fixed-term position.

What you’ll love about the role:

Reporting to the People & Performance Manager, you will partner with senior leaders to provide strategic support and advice to drive performance and a values driven culture across the organisation. You will play an integral part in the planning and implementation of a broad range of People & Culture initiatives across the organisation.

As the HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Partner with Senior Business leaders to understand and contribute to the execution of the People strategy;
  • Work hand in hand with Senior Leaders to provide support in organisational redesign and change work;
  • Provide advice across the full generalist remit including ER/IR, performance, remuneration, talent and succession planning;
  • Proactively work with leaders to understand their changing needs, ensuring advice, initiatives and supports are fit for purpose;
  • Lead a performance based culture through coaching and mentoring, whilst focusing on employee engagement to achieve results;
  • Develop and drive initiatives in relation to culture development;
  • Lead the consultation and roll out of engagement initiatives; and
  • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic objectives, identify areas of opportunity and implement people interventions that align with specific organisational priorities.

From a strategic perspective you will deliver the HR strategy to ensure alignment and contribution to the overall business strategy as well the improvement of performance, engagement and talent attraction.

You will bring with you experience across both strategic and operational business partnering, with the proven ability to deliver results. With well-developed knowledge across all factors that influence an employee’s lifecycle, you will have the ability to think critically and propose practical solutions.

Naturally, you will demonstrate:

  • A proactive and consultative working style, with an innate ability to build productive relationships with various stakeholders across all levels of the business;
  • A strong business acumen, resilience to flex and navigate a changing environment and the ability to ‘lean in’ and be involved in tasks that will contribute to business outcomes;
  • Proven experience working with leaders to coach and guide their decision-making process, alongside your ability to influence culture and performance; and
  • A collaborative team player with a down-to-earth working style.
