About The Role

As a Migration Agent, your role includes working under the guidance of the Principal Migration Agent and meeting with clients and assessing their visa eligibility, and assisting with the preparation, lodgement, and processing of nomination and visas for the following subclasses including but not limited to:

• Employer-Sponsored Visas (Subclass 482, 494, 186, DAMA)
• Student Visa, Subclass 485
• Skilled Migration visas (Subclass 190, 189, 491)
• Partner (Subclass 820/801, 309/100) or Prospective Marriage (Subclass 300)
• Parents Visas
• Protection visas
• AAT Reviews

Your main duties will include:

• Assess visa eligibility and prepare migration advice.
• Ensure files are managed appropriately.
• Prepare legal submissions for applications and assist with drafting and lodging applications.
• Keep records of communications and evidence.
• Ensure timely and positive contact with clients.
• Work in conjunction with the Director and Principal Migration Agent, as well as independently.

Essential criteria:

• Registered with MARA;
• Qualification in Migration Law or similar;
• Previous experience working in a migration agency – 2-3 years preferred;
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills;
• High attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records;
• Ability to work independently.

The salary offered is dependent on the level of experience.
