About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a dynamic all-rounder to help run The Neighbourhood — our youth-led café, skate store, and retail space that’s more than just a shop — it’s a safe, creative hub for young people.

You’ll be managing day-to-day café & retail operations, mentoring youth staff, and taking the reins of our social media to share the good vibes with the world.

What You’ll Be Doing

Making top-tier coffee and running the café like a legend

Overseeing the skate shop and print studio front of house

Managing a small team of young people — mentoring, guiding, and inspiring

Creating engaging social content (Instagram, Reels, Stories etc.)

Keeping the space tidy, welcoming, and community-driven

Supporting events, pop-ups, and in-store activations

You’ll Need to Be:
A coffee nerd (latte art lovers, we see you)
Experienced in hospitality and/or retail
Confident managing and mentoring young people
Reliable, chill under pressure, and values-driven
Active on socials and full of creative ideas
Comfortable working with diverse communities
WWCC ready (mandatory)

Nice to Have:

Barista or café management experience

Retail or skate industry knowledge

Photography, video or content creation skills

Understanding of trauma-informed practice (or open to learning)
