Selection criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy and Nursing. Professional qualifications in Social Work (eligible for membership of AASW) or Occupational Therapy (with current APHRA registration), or Registered Nurse (with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia), or Senior Psychologist with a recognised 4 year degree in Psychology (with current APHRA registration) and at least 8 years’ post registration experience; or Clinical Psychologist (with current APHRA registration) and endorsement in Clinical Psychology (or eligibility to progress to same), and an accredited minimum two-year full-time equivalent Masters degree or higher in Clinical Psychology.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and delivery of health care services, in particular a complex child & adolescent community mental health setting.
- Proven ability in innovative clinical service delivery, harm minimisation and practice development.
- Effective interpersonal skills that demonstrate the ability to engage, enable, and manage teams; with a focus on recovery-oriented, trauma-focussed and strengths-based approach that incorporates consumer collaboration in care planning.
- Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture, and articulate and achieve a vision for nursing/ allied health services.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and demonstrated application of evidence-based practice within mental health.
- Current NSW Drivers License, and a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
