About the role

Bayrange Group is seeking an experienced Quarry Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. As the Quarry Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our quarry operations. This full-time position will see you overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities, managing a team of skilled technicians, and implementing proactive strategies to maximise equipment uptime and productivity.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team to complete scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks across the quarry

Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to optimise the performance and lifespan of quarry equipment

Monitor maintenance activities, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for process improvements

Manage inventory, parts, and tool requirements to ensure the maintenance team has the resources needed

Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team, fostering their ongoing development

Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Collaborate with the quarry operations team to align maintenance schedules and minimise production downtime

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (5+ years) in a quarry or mining maintenance supervisor role

Strong technical knowledge of quarry equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and mobile plant

Proven ability to lead and motivate a maintenance team to achieve high levels of equipment reliability

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills

Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety

Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related field are highly desirable
