About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the talented team at Tempro Services as a full-time HVAC draftsman. You will play a key role in the engineering and design of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for a range of commercial and industrial projects.

What you'll be doing

Producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for HVAC systems, including ductwork, equipment layouts and piping

Supporting the engineering team in the design and specification of HVAC systems

Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to understand project requirements

Ensuring drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards and company policies

Collaborating with the wider engineering team to optimise designs and improve efficiency

Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in engineering drafting, such as a Diploma or Certificate IV

Proven experience as an HVAC draftsman, ideally within a consulting engineering environment

Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit

Excellent technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics and specifications

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
